The Porsche 962 C was the Group C car that carried Porsche's dominance of endurance racing through the mid-to-late 1980s, and the Langheck (LH) version seen here used extended low-drag bodywork developed specifically for the long straights at Le Mans. This release wears the No.7 Le Mans 1987 scheme on Kyosho's Mini-Z RWD MR-04 platform in 1/27 scale, supplied as a Readyset with chassis, body and transmitter rather than as a bare AutoScale shell. The MR-04 brought revised electronics and gyro support to the rear-drive Mini-Z line, so it runs well straight from the box on the long-wheelbase Group C shell.
