The Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR was a hot-rodded version of the little rear-engined Fiat 600 saloon, campaigned in European touring car racing in the late 1960s and instantly recognisable by the rear engine lid propped open on a strut for cooling. Tamiya's kit reproduces that stance on the MB-01, a shaft-driven 4WD chassis with the motor mounted behind the rear axle, introduced alongside this release to suit short-wheelbase classic saloon bodies. Supplied as an unassembled kit with a polycarbonate body shell and decals; radio gear, ESC, motor, battery and paint are needed to finish it.
