The Facel Vega HK500 was the flagship of France's short-lived Facel S.A., built between 1958 and 1961 and combining hand-finished French coachwork with a large American Chrysler V8 — a formula that made it one of the fastest grand tourers of its day and a favourite of wealthy buyers and celebrities. Sun Star's 1/18 die-cast captures the car's stacked quad headlights and wraparound panoramic windscreen, here finished in cream. As with most Sun Star releases of this era, the doors, bonnet and boot open to reveal a detailed engine and cabin. Item 3753 is no longer in production.
