The MX-30 was Mazda's first mass-produced battery electric vehicle, introduced in 2020 and distinguished by its rear-hinged "freestyle" doors and cork-trimmed console, a nod to the company's origins as Toyo Cork Kogyo. This 1/43 die-cast replicates the 100th Anniversary Limited Edition, which marked Mazda's 1920 founding with a Snowflake White Pearl body, burgundy interior and 100th anniversary emblems, drawing on the colour scheme of the 1960 R360 Coupe. Sold as official Mazda merchandise rather than through general model retailers, these anniversary-year items were produced for a limited window and are no longer available new from the maker.
