Kyosho's SAMURAI line is its resin-cast 1/18 series, built as a sealed display model rather than a die-cast with opening panels, which lets the bodywork keep sharper shut lines and truer proportions than a functioning door-and-bonnet casting allows. This one covers the Nissan Fairlady Z, Nissan's long-running home-market sports coupe, finished in a bright yellow that suits the car's wide, flat-topped rear haunches. It comes as a static model on a display base, not a Mini-Z body shell, so it will not fit an MR-03 or AWD chassis. Samurai releases are produced in limited numbers and are generally not repeated once sold through.
