Kyosho's Mini Car & Book series pairs a 1/64 die-cast with a printed booklet, and volume 6 is given over to the Lotus Europa Special from "Circuit no Ookami" (The Circuit Wolf), Satoshi Ikezawa's 1970s racing manga whose hero Hidetoshi Fubuki drives exactly this car. The mid-engined Europa Special was Lotus's fibreglass-bodied lightweight of the early 1970s, and the manga made the type an icon among Japanese enthusiasts long after production ended. This white version is one of the colour variations offered in the series. The book-and-model format means it turns up on shelves as a publication rather than a boxed model.
